Default looking for a place to hold a Marine Corps Ball

I am trying to find a location for this years Marine Coprs Birthday. I need room for 350, close to a hotel, have a bar, and yet be a reasonable price. does not have to be very ritzy. Just a place that will be able to keep young Marines happy and proud to be there.

My brother had his reception at the Knights of Columbus hall in East Bloomington, and on his budget that's probably one of the cheapest places you'll find that isn't questionable. The Hampton Inn is just up the road on Lyndale and there's a Super 8 in the other direction on the Cedar frontage road. There is also a Sam's Club nearby if the KC Hall allows you to roll your own catering.

You'll have to check and see if they can handle 350.

Found the link: Knights of Columbus Marian Council #3827

The brochure link has the rental information. They can accomodate up to 400. Prices seem competitive with what I've seen for the places we've used for our summer/winter work events.

Try the Culinary Institute in Burnsville. They have a great space that I think can handle 350 at least. There are a lot of VFW type places that have banquet halls. I know the one in Stillwater does and it can easily handle 350 and there are a few hotels near there. Most of the larger hotels in the area can also handle those size banquets but they are going to be pretty expensive.
