What about the Twine Ball???
Hey everyone! What about the World's Largest Ball of Twine rolled by one man in Darwin, MN? We drove all the way from Northern California to see that! It's not that far from the cities either. A nice little drive. Minnesota has some wonderful greenery for late June! Coming from Redwood Country in Northern California, that is saying a lot! lol

Weird Al wrote a song about that. If I'm not mistaken, it's called "The Biggest Ball of Twine in Minnesota." It's funny.

I'm sure many other people could give other towns with other oversize critters; when our kids were little we tried to go to every small town in MN that had one of these roas-side attractions in it.

LOL! Stock up on booze on Saturdays, man. That's what I do. It becomes a habit for me to stock up on Saturdays so much sometimes that I have beer in my fridge for weeks.

This only works one in maybe ten tries unless you live alone or have no friends. I just opt for the Wisconsin run, but most of my friends are at the bar on Sunday night anyways.

No, the only time it doesn't work is if you're a lame who sits at home every Sunday and drinks beer, or a raging alcoholic who cannot be sustained by a few 12-packs of beer for 24 hours.
Personally, it is easier for my friends and I to stock up on beer because we don't drink that much. We generally drink a lot of dishwater beer like Miller, Bud, and Killian's so stocking up isn't really necessary. But we also get some Moosehead, Heineken, Jose Cuervo, and others. Still, if there is only one 12-pack for all four or five of us that is enough for the day. We don't need beer all the time.
I made that suggestion not knowing people are so stuck on the bottle they can't wait 24 hours for booze and actually have to drink to Wisconsin for beer. I know WI isn't that far from where I live (St. Louis Park), but that's still a lot of gas for beer. If you can't wait 24 hours for beer and have to drive to Wisconsin or go to the bar every Sunday night then you really need to check your alcohol problem.

See, a lot of older Minnesotans give us young Minnesotans a bad name.
I have been here since I was born, and Im 22, and I have never seen, or tasted Lutefisk? Stop saying that it is "minnesota food"
Another thing, I don't call them "hot dishes" I think ya'll are idiots, my grandma calls it that, not us.
I call Soda, Soda. Because that's what It is. I dont call it a quirkey name like "pop"
I dont say Rubber Binder, i say rubber band.

Okay, I have to ask about a word I have never heard outside of Minnesota. What is the meaning of "Uf-da?"
