What's expensive to you? Where are you/is your wedding located?
We spent like $600 to have someone take pictures for 3 hours and they gave us a set of proofs with that price. We bought a few larger prints and albums after all so our total photography price was more than the $600 in the end. I thought that was a great deal though for what I was looking for. I would recommend you think about who will be photographing your wedding. The day goes by in an instance but your pictures will last a lifetime (I know corny, but true). My sister-in-law had a friend of a friend type person take her pictures because she was inexpensive, and now she says the one thing she would have changed was spending more on her photographer.
