What's expensive to you? Where are you/is your wedding located?

We spent like $600 to have someone take pictures for 3 hours and they gave us a set of proofs with that price. We bought a few larger prints and albums after all so our total photography price was more than the $600 in the end. I thought that was a great deal though for what I was looking for. We went through Kemmetmueller Photography in Deephaven, Kemmetmueller Photography.

Our pictures are fantastic, if I do say so myself!

I would recommend you think about who will be photographing your wedding. The day goes by in an instance but your pictures will last a lifetime (I know corny, but true). My sister-in-law had a friend of a friend type person take her pictures because she was inexpensive, and now she says the one thing she would have changed was spending more on her photographer.

Good luck!

P.S. If you can be more specific with what you are looking for and photography budget I might be able to help find you some ideas.

We used Steve Rouch. He does nice work. He is more expensive then some of the people that work for him. We have done a lot of work with him over the years and have never been disappointed.

My friends own a business for this.

He doesnt photograph though, he videos, then edits, and makes it into DVDs

I have seen his work, and its awesome.

He makes chapters...Like "The Pre-ceremony" "Ceremony" "Interviews with friends" "Dances" "In the Limo"..

Basically get everything captured, edited and nicely put on a DVD>

I would recommend Erin Johnson Photography. They have received numerous awards from The Knot Magazine and several other well know wedding publications throughout Minneapolis and St. Paul. Erin created an impressive wedding photojournalism piece that we love dearly. Thanks Erin! Minneapolis Wedding Photographer - www.erinjohnsonphoto.blogspot.com

I'd recommend a good friend of mine. Here's a blog she started and has to update (I've been reminding her of that), but in it's brevity it still shows her great talent:

Uncategorized « For The Fridge

If you're interested, shoot me off a PM and I can pass along her contact info.
