Default Looking to relocate to the Metro for a job in Golden Valley | St. Paul???

Hello, I'm moving from Duluth to St Paul and would love to have some great advice. I'm looking to spend 700-900 for at least a one bedroom apt or condo.

How is the corner of Holly and Grotto? Close to Summit, Grand and William Mitchell Law School. I am thinking about a place there.

Where else would you recommend living? I am going to be working in Golden Valley, but plan on being in Woodbury often.

Thanks.

OMG you do not want to make the drive everyday. I cannot even think of a good compromise between Woodbury and GV.

Holly and Grotto is nice. I used to go jogging near there every day when I worked in downtown St. Paul. South of Grand is even better. I drove St. Paul to Plymouth for a few months, which is even farther than Golden Valley. Believe it or not the drive wasn't too bad, 94 to 394 or 55. Big caveat - I generally arrived at work by a quarter after 7:00. An hour later I suspect it's much worse.
