Regardless of time, but in keeping with the topic of this thread, because your distance increases doesn't that mean you will ultimately pay more for gas?

Sorry, I had to go there.

Stop and go traffic on Pilot Knob every morning hardly did my car any fuel economy justice. I'm confident that getting out of Eagan will have few disadvantages.

Touché.

I really didn't mean to pick on you, btw.

But it is. Those staunch Minneapolis liberals complain, and then they go to the polls and elect people who raise their taxes. They take steps to remedy their problem.
Republicans are under the pecuilar illusion that they can have billion dollar road projects without raising gas and sales taxes. It isn't complaining that is the problem (everyone does that); it is the fact that half these cities do nothing in response to their problems.

You can't blame high gas prices on Republicans. That's just ridiculous. The blame lies squarely on greedy oil companies gouging consumers to make billions on the backs of hard working citizens.

Yep. Or they drive those huge trucks.

I also wanna know where are all these suburban soccer moms going when they bear down on my tail when I'm in Dakota County. Are they that late for the PTA meeting?

Re-read what I wrote. China and India are why we have high gas prices. The reason why roads are congested is because people of a certain political leaning choose not to support increased transit and road spending.

RUINER_SR4 is on a distinguished road
Because people love to complain about everything they possibly can, and traffic/drive time/distance is super easy to complain about...much like the weather is. My response is always "move closer to the city then!" And they say something like "I don't want to live so close to downtown!" Choose your poison then and quit complaining about it! Duh. Sorry for the tangent...but I agree with you it's frustrating at the least.

I live in Chan because I don't want to live so close to downtown, which is where I work. I allow an hour to get to work in the morning, I knew this when I bought the house so I know I have NO reason to complain. I have also discovered THE BUS which I wish a lot of these folks would consider because it is AWESOME.

Maybe a lot of this was pointless But I can't stand complainers.

Brian.
