We are fortunate that she is more focused on her controversial social media posts than making a real policy impact.

She is very poorly informed. The comments here are fascinating.

Ilhan Omar is an idiot Jihadist. When the Trump Derangement Syndrome dies down, people will come to their senses and put in someone much more intelligent than Ms. Omar.

Yep, sounds like a "tolerant" Minneapolis liberal, proud to be represented by an immature, reactionary, anti-semetic, jihadi sympathizing socialist. I'm pretty sure her election was the liberal equivalent to a teenage girl dating a bad boy to spite her parents. I hope they grow out of it soon.

In the mean time, we should all just start wearing blue hats that say "Make the world horrible again."

Hennepin County and Ramsey County (two counties of which pretty much decide state election outcomes) seem to be the most sane parts of the state, hence why the 5th Congressional District elected Omar. Big metros are usually well-educated and want to progress. The same is true for Wisconsin's biggest metros, Milwaukee and Madison.

You don't respond well to change, do you? Also, that "syndrome" isn't in the DSM last time I checked....

This is the funniest thing I've read on this forum in some time. Thanks for the laugh.

That was weak. Trust me, thinking the IOC is what he is doesn't make one a complete partisan. Are you seriously in the simpleminded "With me or against me" mindset based on an opinion of a politician? I usually figured you for a cut above the tinfoil hat and Identity Europa posters we get in this subforum.

My bad.

What on earth are you trying to communicate here?

The thread is about the MN5CD and our elected Congressional representative. I linked to a tweet where she echoed the comments of Hezzbolah and Putin on Venezuela and was appropriately mocked for it on twitter.

I never took a “with me or against me” stance on this. You turned my comment into an off topic gripe about Trump— the validity of which I really didn’t dispute— but who seems to be a person that Ilhan Omar seems to emulate, at least on social media.

You are just not thinking clearly and your post is incoherent so, yes, your bad.
