Default What is Crystal like?

We found a home near Cavanaugh School Park, and was wondering if anyone would reccomend Crystal as a family friendly area? What is the area like?

its not bad. Its an older suburb so there is some history there. Pretty safe area.

Boring. Nothing to write home about. Smaller inner-ring post-war suburb mostly without sidewalks built on the same street grid as N. Minneapolis and Robbinsdale. It's close and convenient. Mostly quiet--nuisance crime at worst as a general rule.

I lived in an apartment in that city (on the border of Golden Valley, 2701 Brunswick Ave N., to be precise) for about year when I was 20-21 years old. I wasn't unhappy there. (Right next to a nice park.)

It's plain, but it at least has more of a "town center" than Golden Valley. Schools are generally good if you do not have special needs, and recently Robbinsdale Armstrong placed quite high in Newsweek's rankings.

saying its boring is fairly redundant. It is a suburb, after all
