There are quite a few around Eagan Town Centre, ie; near Byerly's, Barnes & Noble, etc. You can also search at forrent.com or move.com and find several in your price range. Some of them have indoor pools.

I lived at the Thomas Lake Pointe Apartments twice and would continue to live there, but I'm by myself now, and I can't afford the rent. A one-bedroom is $900/month. It's right by a lake with awesome walking trails - and it isn't rare to see deer grazing. It's a peaceful neighborhood by an elementary school. The apartments are pretty nice - although some of the cabinetry is outdated. But, overall, I've enjoyed living there and would recommend it.

I don't know the name of any of the complexes in Eagan but none of them are bad. There are several on Lexington Ave and Yankee Doodle Road area that are all nice. I have no idea about rent prices though.

I lived in the towne center area and there were alot of apartments, the forest ridge apartments were nice but there was an incedent were part of them caught fire, that is fixed now. one issue is that towne center area crime rate is rising steadily. Watch out for soliciters, there were 2 occaisons were we had to call the police on them.

Default Apartments

You might also want to try Promenade Oaks. It is a nice apartment complex in your price range located right at Eagan Towne Center. I've been living here since January, and so far have had no problems.
