These properties are all in fine areas. Louisiana Ave is getting a little close to the rougher areas.
Those rough patches are pretty much anything west of Zane Ave N and south of 85th Ave N.
East of Noble and yet south of 85th is not horrible, but certainly not as great as the areas north of 85th or better yet, north of 610. <--There are quite a few very attractive newer developments in this area.

They were our rivals with my youth soccer teams from ages 10-17 so I knew enough of them well enough. Don't take it personally.

Of or relating to wage earners, especially as a class, whose jobs are performed in work clothes and often involve manual labor. This is the definition from the dictionary. But there are many well paying "blue collar" jobs and low paying "white collar" jobs. Sometimes the self employed lawn care guy will have a much nicer home than the people who hired him.

That's more than I know. All things considered, I would say that is a bunch.

The largest Hispanic areas in the Twin Cities are in the District del Sol on the Westside of St. Paul and South Minneapolis, especially in Powderhorn and Phillips. Lake Street between 35W and Cedar Avenue is chock full of Hispanic restaurants, bakeries and other businesses. My wife is Mexican and out of the places we've eaten at thus far the most authentic to her has been La Poblanita off of Lake Street near Bloomington Avenue.

There is a restaurant called El Gaucho on East Franklin. More Pampas than BA, but probably worth a try.

Definately Lake street from 35W to Hiawatha. Area is a bit seedy so I'd recommend daytime visits only until you've got a good sense for the place. There's a global market in the old Sears building on Chicago. I've also seen Mexican groceries in Richfield and some other areas. Bill's Imported Foods on west lake street has been around for practically forever and has a good reputation - I don't know if they carry a lot of South American groceries or not but they would almost certainly know the local food scene and get you started with some good places to go. And, of course, there is Trader Joe's (I've never been in one so I don't know what's there, but its an international food store).
