But the actual truth of the matter is that this movement is being directed and financed by people with money using mostly the young and socially-conditioned to do their destruction. What the disaffected actors envision as a new day for them may not be what the rich folks behind the scenes have in mind at all.

In fact, having watched these sorts of "spontaneous" happenings in America for over seven decades I am well aware that there is always a money/power scheme behind what is presented as a noble cause. Human nature.

A perfect society with no authority sounds good to the young but we all know it's a utopian daydream. When you're young it's normal to believe in ideals and easy to control you by your heart.
Exactly! Which is where garbage like George Soros and the public universities come in. One to fund the revolution and the other to train the anarchist soldiers.

All you've got to do is study the history of the Hippy Movement of our generation to see the heavy hand of money, power and government being used to seduce the youth into destructive choices. Love and Peace! LOL

Or its accompanying opposing movement, the Vietnam War. Loyalty and Power!

We were played but we all thought we were doing the right thing because of our own personal desires. Bless us all.

In the end the big money prevails. Always.

I Love how this is trying to be twisted into whites afraid.

This is why to most white folk, BLM is a farce. How can I get onboard with a movement like that, ranting and raving about police brutality when they don't care about their own communities. Really??? You want to cry about a handful of people killed per year by police, who (remember now) were in the process of committing crimes. Maybe the clear choice is don't commit crime, you may wind up dead. How do black lives remotely matter to most white folk when so far in Chicago as of July 10, there were over 1900 shootings. 1900!!!!!! Over 500 homicides. Overwhelmingly AA on AA (African American) But you claim BLM. Hmmm, a few years ago in NYC AA's aborted more AA babies than born. But BLM..... or does it? Who is really running your lives? Remember the words of Malcom X, along the lines saying the white liberals are worse than republicans. Wonder why that is? Because they pretend to help you when all they are doing is furthering their own agenda. And yes they have to keep you down, otherwise you wouldn't need them. So many communities are fed from the cradle to the grave, they are taught about being kept down by the man or system. When it's their own party keeping them down.
BLM? Sadly 67-70% of AA children grow up without a father. Boys growing up in a home without a father figure or twice as likely to be incarcerated later in life. But BLM. Oh does it? Excuse my white privilege please. So rock on brotha's from another mutha. Yea get mad at the system. The system that is manipulating you. Whatever you do, DO NOT take responsibility for your actions. If you do, the "system" will fail.

On a much lighter note, one of your own made this awesome tutorial for AA's and maybe just maybe this should be taught in school, enjoy!

And in the end, what did the most influential among that movement do? I'm specifically thinking of Jane Fonda and Ted Turner. Elitism at its finest, do you think THEY live in the Hood?

People who have two sticks to rub together do not want to live next to people who don't have two sticks to rub together. Because after working all day to attain a third stick, they come home to find their original two sticks have either been broken or stolen. THAT is at the root at class in a capitalistic society. Which is at the roots of the desire for a "fair" socialistic society. It takes a Village to bankrupt a Village, after all.

For my own part, the Left is going to get what it's asking for, I'm working on taking what I've struggled and saved for my entire life and moving as far away from Chicago as I can. Who do you think that is going to hurt the worst? Right, brown kids, and that's too bad. Go ahead and defund the police, but then you get to live in the spithole that you've created with your lousy choices, not me.

Well said. Not sure if you're a homeowner or not. I am. So my leaving has zero impact on the "fine" citizens of Minneapolis because I can't leave until I sell my home, at which point someone else takes over my property tax payments. No skin off the Silly Clowncil's nose.

When you're a homeowner, they've got you.

While there's some truth in what you said, being a homeowner myself, I currently pay taxes on my suburban Chicago property at a grossly inflated rate (the county assessor claims it is worth $205K, when in reality, I would / will sell it for $150K). So when I do that, the assessment HAS to be reduced, and the new owner will pay significantly less taxes. And, it is likely the person who buys my house will be coming out of Chicago (probably a current apartment or home renter) who's fed up with the rioting and Covid lockdown in the city, and right now, there isn't a line around Lake Michigan of people wanting to move into Chicago, so Chicago's population will continue to decrease. My annual income and spend from SS, pension, and investments will go into a different state, which will help their economy instead of Illinois'. So there IS a "ripple" effect from this particular butterfly flapping its wings. These BLM idiots simply don't know when to leave well enough alone, and end up hurting their own interests in the long run. Whatev's, you make your bed, you lie in it.

Soon you will have a fine Black community of law abiders without needing those pesky runaway white people

Great posts! Nailed it with both points.

A friend of mine lives in a small town in northern MN and her dad was a trooper and then a town cop in city she lives in. A new young guy was hired and started writing dwi’s right away. The town forced the guy to quit. A Mpls cop also moved there and worked. He basically had to settle/tone down a ton as the town has zero to do with what Mpls was like. After spending a decent amount of time in that small town/wilderness I realized you should be more fearful of people not wild animals there being bears, wolves, mountain lions, moose.
