Exclamation Help w/ Minneapolis

Im 13, grade 8 @ Rockhampton grammar, in qld, australia. Its a dead-beat town of aout 75k, and probably WORSE than Bakersfield, which is hard to imagine, murders, robbery- if its crime, rocky has it! I know in only 13, but i was going to live in MSP area until i could move to L.A, but I like the long-term outlook for me. the lakes, CBD and much more keeps attracting me to MSP! mainly becasue im starting flying lessons soon and Northwest is based at MSP! i will be there when 18, so training school for NWA is a must, what would be an area to live in, cant stand condo's/apartments, unless the city-centre, but that would be too much! moderatly-priced, preffering rental.. i know im planing 5years ahead, but ive been told "Where do you see yourself in 5 years?" so i am planing! so an area, and 21 is a ridiculous age to be allowed to drink! over in aussie, its 18!! but what is the arts like?? acting, drama, music scene, im a typical teen and a good actor.. Won 1st at state drama monologue last year out of 23,000 people! and i was still in primary school! okay, im getting carried away! so generaly, help on suburbs!!

Australia and California are very different from Minnesota weather-wise. I can safely say you will find it cold. I've met people from California who think 50 degrees F is cold. If that's the case with you it might be better to look for somewhere else. Plus, is the crime really that bad in your Aussie town? Everybody always says, "mixed ethnicities cause discontent, these type of people commit more crimes than these type of people" but they fail to realize in mainly white countries it is white people who commit most of the crimes. Go figure.

Google Delta merger, NWA is consolidating and moving to Atlanta. North Dakota state has about the best aviation program in America, but that is a few hours' drive away. Drinking age is 21 everywhere, we're a prudish lot at times.

I'm willing to bet that the merger won't run to completion. All of the NW unions are against it, and I don't think Delta's general lack of experience dealing with union issues will make the road any smoother. But we'll see...

Actually the aviation program is at The University of North Dakota. (not NDSU) I believe UND and St Cloud State are the only universities in the MN/ND that have accredited aviation programs. But UND's program is older and very well known.
