Default Transportation from Midway Station- the Amtrak train station to MSP Airport

I am a foreign student and would like to know how to get from Midway Station-MSP ( the Amtrak train staion) to the MSP Airport?
How long does it take from the train station to the airport?

It is an awkward part of the city to get to. Basically speaking, you have to walk down to University Avenue and find a bus going to either of the downtowns. The light rail train would take you from 5th Street in Mpls. or the 54 bus would get you by the Xcel Center (Arena) in Saint Paul.

If you must have public transportation, then, Minnehahapolitan is correct in those directions above.

A cab would be relatively inexpensive from the Midway Amtrak to the airport. Simply cruise down Cleveland Ave to 5 and you're there. Maybe 15 minutes tops.
