Default Had to turn on the air today

How's everyone liking the first hot day of the year? I'm glad fall is just around the corner.

Well, it was warmish to hot for me as well, but I have weird Norwegian genes that let me get away with a light jacket and no gloves in the middle of winter. I pay for it over the summer :-(

Heh heh..

Just gotta laugh at our weather here. We'd be dead if we didn't joke about our weather.

We are contemplating whether or not it's too soon to turn on our a/c. A slew of 80 degree weather and all of a sudden we're babies...it just seems so pathetic!
Our ceiling fan is spinning but for whatever reason it just doesn't seem to cool the room down, unless you're RIGHT under it! We sleep with a fan on at night, too, pointed DIRECTLY at the bed...but I'm not complaining (yet) cause I have been wishing for this since...Nov?

I can't believe it is the first 'official' day of summer and we haven't turned on our air yet. It is still cooling off at night, very unusual here for this time of year. It is very comfortable in our house right now and stays that way until about 4:00. By then we are out and about anyway so we have been able to manage not turning on the air. It helps that the kids' allergies have been non-existent so far this summer otherwise we would have to turn it on.

Now, when it gets to the point that the low temp is 80°, the air will go on!
