Camden, I wasn't trying to say that north Minneaoplis is poor for biking. It is still part of the #2 biking city in the country and far better than pretty much all the suburbs, but let's be realistic. I can't stand on my front lawn for five minutes without seeing bikes flying past me. south Minneapolis has an official bike path like every four blocks as well as the Hiawatha stretch, Minnehaha Pkwy, the Midtown Greenway, etc. There is nothing like that on the northside. I was on the northside several times this summer and I don't think I saw a single biker, it just hasn't hit there like it has down here.
