Default Columbia Mammoth Peak Parka

Hi,

I bought a jacket for winter yesterday at Kohl's, but I'm not totally sure it's a sufficiently warm jacket for a Minneapolis winter. It's a Columbia Mammoth Peak Parka. I can't seem to find any information on it on the internet about it, so I'm not sure if it is perhaps just a warmer fall jacket or of it would be sufficient for winter here. I feel like a total doofus about this, cause I used to buy winter jackets all the time - but it's been a while and now I feel very unsure about it. It's a 3-in-1 two piece jacket.

Any thoughts?

Brad

That will be fine. It is a very popular style and plenty warm.

I think you will find that it's better to dress in layers than to have a winter coat that is too heavy. I wore a light leather coat last winter with a sweater over a shirt and a silk undershirt; I could take off the sweater if I was too warm. It's very important to wear a neck scarf, and hat and gloves too.

I've had a winter coat once that was too warm; once you start sweating it decreases the jackets' warmth.

Hey everyone,

Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it. I like this jacket, it's comfortable, not too bulky and it looks pretty good.

Cheers,
Brad
