Not that Atlanta is a bad place to live. You just have to be careful ... some locations actually *are* dangerous or risky.

Now that I look at it, there is nothing close to Clayton County's equivalent. A few sketchy areas, of course, but nothing like what you might find in metro Atlanta. Minnesota at least has townships and it isn't that corrupt compared to some places.

Brooklyn Park is nice.
I used to live there.
Most family-knit babies from Minnesota will say that its "Ghetto" and a "bad" neighborhood, but anywhere else in the country it would be considered a great place to live. Yes, there is an influx of immigrants and minorities, but dont be so closeminded.

I agree- my links must not have worked for you- I was being facetious/ sarcastic with my post. All of the links were to streetviews of pretty upscale areas in and around Edinburgh golf course.

LOL @ Miley
Yes that is so, so bad. The giant Brookdale sign is just frightening. It is almost as scary as Maplehood.

Not to mention the fact that it's off-topic as this is a thread about Brooklyn Park and the mall is in Brooklyn Center bordering Minneapolis. I could care less how pretty a mall is - I love going to Brookdale as, unlike other metro-area malls, it's easily accessible and not a complete zoo on weekends/ evenings.

I never meant to imply it was "frightening". I'd rather just go to Nicollet or MOA. Heck, even Southdale.

Well that is the cool thing about capitalism. You get to pick where you shop. I seem to like Maplehood myself. Mosty because I can't see driving farther to get the same stuff.
