Default Light rail to football

Is the train a good way to get to the Vikings game? Can you "have refreshments" or is it a dont ask dont tell type deal. How long does it take to get from the MOA to the Hump?

I've sometimes seen on football days down at the Ft. Snelling station crowds of people getting on for the game. There are extra personnel on duty to help them move along.

Don't know about "refreshments" and they're more concerned about getting people moving than anything else, but there's sure to be a heightened security presence just because of the volume of traffic being processed. That means more eyes. Its quite crowded & standing room only on game days, so you might want to consider going to one of the further south stations. I wouldn't heavily advertise you're bringing beer on board.

Commute time is same as normal, probably about 25 minutes from Ft. Snelling.

Whether or not you can get the beer into the stadium is another thing...

SRO on the train??? Hard to sip the captain then. Flasks are the thing to bring...crotch or boot.
