African Restaurant - Other than Tom Tom
I learned african restaurants are good for spicey foods and I heard Tom Tom serves real great spicey fish. Is there any other african restaurants too? Even googling did not help. I just want to know atleast few more.

I like Fasika. It's not too spicy though, at least not the stuff I've ordered.

I second the recommendation of Fasika. I went there about a month and a half ago and it was delicious.

Safari Restaurant on Nicollet Ave in Minneapolis is the best Somali/ East African food I've ever had. For Ethiopian, I agree that Fasika is excellent, I like Kilamanjaro (Cedar and Riverside Aves) as well.

In addition to the one on Nicollet, it sounds like Safari now has an Express/ To-go location in the Midtown Global Market as well...quite an interesting concept - Somali fast food!

Try my Twin Cities Unique Dining Guide. It's available here as a PDF download: Coizin Guide .
There are quite a few Ethiopian restaurants (and one Eritrean) in Minneapolis and St. Paul. I've heard a lot of good things about Fasika especially. There are a ton of Somali places in South Minneapolis and in the West Bank area; look along Lake Street. There's also a small Nigerian restaurant on Nicollet Ave.
