Default Llooking for a host family for high school boy in his final year

Hi, everyone
We are looking for a host family ASAP who could provide accommodation and two meals(breakfast & dinner) for my son who is in his final year in Eden Prairie high school. For your reference, he is one of the top high school clarinet players in MN and qualified to give private lessons to kids as well.
He spends most of his weekday time practicing bands in the school.
We are willing to pay $1,000 per month.
Looking forward to your comments

wonsdad

Hi,there. Can you give me more info and how long is he going to stay? The problem is that I have to talk to my family about it and I probably have to go food shopping with him since I don't think he would be able to adjust to Vietnamese food. Not to mention,we don't have an extra bedroom until sleeping a couch or sleeping on the carpet floor is okay. I have to be honest and tell you guys that I am kind of selfish because I don't like people touching my things.

If it does work out, then it would be great since I am the only child and I would like someone's opinion about how I should approach to start a small business and start typing out a roughtdraft for my first e-book.

So,a part of me want to help, but as you can see I don't know if I can or not!

If you want your kid to commute from south Minneapolis I have a bedroom available. He could sleep on the inflatable mattress and enjoy delicious Mexican cuisine every day with the occasional trip to a local restaurant or the Old Country Buffet.

I hope your son is open to having a roommate too because he'd be sharing his bedroom with the family dog during the cold months.

Oh it's authentic alright. Common dishes in my home are huevos rancheros, enchiladas, mole, sopes, caldo de pollo con verduras, chilaquiles, enfrijoladas, tostadas, tortas, gorditas. My wife and I both give Taco Bell two thumbs down.

There is nothing with Mex-Tex,well I am trying to become a vegetarian and maybe a vegan, but I was just joking. I don't like Taco Bell as much ever since I heard they use low grade meat.

What about finding him his own apartment. I know of a couple families that moved during the senior year of their children that did that so they could finish out their schooling.
