What to do with 20 adn 16 year old boys while visiting Minneapolis
We are visiting the Minneapolis area March 19-21 and are looking for something fun to do with our boys who are ages 20 and 16. We would be open to tours, sports, etc.  |

Opening round of NCAA tourney is this weekend. 8 Teams including BC, USC, Michigan St and Kansas.
WCHA Final 5 is at Excel this weekend. One of the best hockey showcases of the year. UMD, North Dakota, Denver, Bucky and the Gopher are the lineup. |

I second Clifford's suggestion.
Other things depend on their (and your)interests
There are great Art Museums (Mpls Inst of Arts is my favorite and its very comprehensive), but for edgier stuff there's the Walker Art Ctr (which has a well publicized show by Elizabeth Peyton: Live Forever, which includes lots of contempoarary icons that may interest younger people).
If the weather's nice (and I think its supposed to be), you could look into renting bikes for a day and bike around the lakes, Minnehaha Pkwy, West River Road, Stone Arch Bridge, and back to the lakes via the Kenilworth Trail or Midtown greenway. Google 'Minneapolis Grand Rounds' to find more info on the parkways/bikeways

A good teen-friendly evening activity would be GameWorks downtown. It's like a giant sports bar with a bowling alley and tons of arcade games. This can be kind of expensive though.
I second the ideas for the art museums, college sports, and bike rentals. Especially the bike rentals. You could take a round-about ride down to Uptown for lunch/shopping and then ride back, all on trails.

Unfortunately you won't have a chance to see the Minnesota Timberwolves as they will be playing on the road. If weather is bad there is always something to do at the Mall of America. The Midtown Global Market is another cool spot to walk around and get some good food. If weather is good you could hang out at Lake Calhoun or the Stone Arch Bridge area along the Mississippi River, both are beautiful areas.
