Default Prices for a studio apartment in the city?

Right now I live 15 minutes away in a nice suburb in Pittsburgh that can be accessed by the "T" (public transportation..rail system). It's only 399 a month and amazing. But this is Pittsburgh, the cheapest place to live.

What are your prices? I'm looking to get outta Pittsburgh next year.

MSP metro area has prices that tend to vary by location quite a bit. I know that studio in south minneapolis can be had for around $500 or so and that would compare on time to get downtown. I am sure you could find something for $400, but the area might be a little rough around the edges.

Downtown, uptown, the wedge, and the U tend to be higher rents as they are in demmand. St. Louis Park has a lot of rentals and it very close to downtown Minneapolis. You might want to check some listing there to get an idea. You could also check areas close to the light rail system in SE part of Minneapolis. Not as many rentals there, but worth checking out.
