Most of the restaurants are towards the southern end of the Mall. Places like Brit's Pub, The News Room, Vincent's, Oceannaire, et cetera tend to be in the vicinities of 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th. This is not to discount places like the Oak Grill in Dayton's or Morton's further up the Mall. It's just that the south end of Nicollet has more restaurants on the actual street -- they have huge patios and simply tend to get noticed more. You would never find the Oak Grill if you didn't know it was there.

yes, in the summer, especially when there are twins games , the sidewalks are flooded with people eating at all the awesome places...Man i miss Minneapolis!

Yes. The Hyatt is at 13th & Nicollet. Most restaurants on the Mall are between 12th & 8th. There's also lots of restaurants along 6th Street from 2nd Ave N to Marquette.
