Default Does anyone know about this St Paul neigborhoood?

Hello all,

I'm intersted in a property located at the corner of York Ave and Westminster St in St Paul. It is couple blocks North from Phalen Blvd and East of 35E high way.

Any info. about this neigborhood would be appreciated. Is it Safe?

- Thanks,
MNCold.

It isn't the best neighborhood in St. Paul but it isn't the worst either. It is pretty close to the Dayton's Bluff area and that is a really rough part of St. Paul. How safe is safe in your book?

Default Safety

Thanks for your post. Is this considered 'East St Paul'?

What I mean by safety is: will someone break into our property or give us trouble when the kids are playing outside. We're not looking for trouble, just wanted to stay safe.

It is part of the East Side. Most people consider the "East Side" more between White Bear Ave-3rd Street or so and over but it isn't all that far off. As for people breaking in and what not, that I don't know. Each few blocks over there can mean a different thing. You could have some really nice neighborhoods for a couple blocks and then have some pretty bad ones a few blocks over.

Default York property

Are you going to live there? Or are you going to rent it out?
