Default Eyebrow threading in Minneapolis metro area--need help finding a salon

Hi, everyone, does anyone know of any Indian salon in the metro area that does eyebrow threading? Has anyone done this here before? It is usually only done in an Indian salon, the bigger salons only usually do waxing. I just moved back home & would like to continue to do this, but seem to be having trouble finding any salon that does threading.

Help, anyone???

Thanks!

There is one either at Burnsville Center or at the Mall of America. I remember walking by one at one of those malls. I don't know any more then that about the salon though.

Thanks! I did a search in the Mall of America directory & found Perfect Brow Art & found some good reviews for it as well--just what I was looking for!

What is the difference vs waxing them? Does the hair take londer to grow back? Seen these places in the mall but never tried it.

I don't think it takes longer to grow back. You're pulling the hair out by the root in either case. I think the difference with threading is that it hurts less and is more precise. I see it as being like plucking, only much faster. I have never personally tried it, but I have heard good things.

I got it done at the place in MOA. Threading is way better than waxing. It is more precise & better for your skin. With waxing, I always remember having red puffy eyes afterwards. With threading, you're in, you're out, done! Almost no pain. I don't know how people can pluck their eyebrows--I'd much rather have someone who knows what they're doing do it for me.

How much did it cost to have your eyebrows threaded? My dd reacts to the wax they use so she can't do that any longer.

My sister works in an upscale salon in the northern suburbs. She has a number of Indian clients that come and get their hair done and they do eyebrow threading their homes (usually costing around $8). I would recommend calling up an upscale salon in your area and ask if any of the stylists have connections or recommends for you.

$12 plus a tip...

And I did find some that do it out of their homes, but I wasn't comfortable with going to someone's house....rather go to a salon...

Thumbs up Eyebrw threading - Diva Beauty & Design (5 stars!!)

I just had my eyebrows down by Diva Beauty & Design and it was awesome!! The procedure was quick, painless and left no swelling or redness.

It only cost $7 + tip and took about 5 minutes. I highly recommend giving this place a try - the woman that does it is very talented and friendly.
