Congrats on your new home, MLGB97! Please continue to update us on how you like it there as you continue to settle in. I am still struggling to sell my current home so who knows when I will be able to purchase the next home. I remain very intrigued by the Upper Landing development.

Hello St. Paulites! How wonderful to hear that you love the neighborhood after 5 years there. It does seem to have a unique and charming mix of urban and natural location. Perhaps I will one day be one of those neighbors that you don't hear!

Sorry for the lack of update but it was a really busy month for me. Work got busy so it got to be a bit hectic with the moving and stuff. However I am almost finished moving in, just a bit of organizing left and I need to get my blinds in which are being shipped to me.

I have to say so far I am really liking the place. I am loving the area, especially since I have been able to get out on my bike a few times. Love the trail, and my parking spot is right across from the garage door so I can grab my bike and go out the door, so easy. Also the building I am in is very quiet, I never really hear much of anything other than the trains or traffic if I have all the windows open. But even then I have learned to tune out the train noise, and they arent all that frequent. With the windows closed you really have to be listening for it to hear them.

Every one I have met in the building up to this point have been very friendly and outgoing. Which is a bit weird for me since I am not the greatest people person in the world. However it does seem as if the people (I am basing this on the people I have met so far) really do care about the community not only in the building but in the Upper Landing area as a whole.

So, about 1 month into I can say that I am completely pleased with my new place and I love living here so far. And I love my new front loading washer and dryers, they rule.
