Memories of Jonathan & Chaska
During the summer of 1972 I worked at the Univ. of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. I lived in a neat apartment in Treetops?? in the "new" town of Jonathan. I remember the hiking trails and lakes in this planned community. Everyone was so friendly. Chaska, in my memory, was a very small town with just one stoplight. I also remember eating apple pie with cinnamon ice cream and finding an incredible bakery that made the best nepolians. Polka fests, beautiful countryside, lots of fun!
