Talking Anything comparable to Nebraska Furniture Mart in MN?

I was just wondering if anybody knows of a similar store to NFM in MN? I just relocated from KC and of course we have one there where we can purchase a wide variety of electronics, furniture, etc and it was a real treat. Thanks!

There is nothing on the scale of NFM in MN. You could drive up to Becker Home Center in Becker MN. But honestly, I would look at smaller stores in your area and get a deal (dicker) from the owner...you'll get a much better deal. Stores are READY TO DEAL. I'm in the business....

HOM is a pretty big shop that has a variety of brands.

Ashley has a lot of stuff, but all the same brand. Tends to be more affordable.

Becker Furniture World is pretty big but I don't know they have the best prices.

Macy's, Gabberts are fairly large with mostly high end stuff.

Room and Board is not that big, but has fairly high end stuff that tends to be more contemporary.

For Electronic's, there are a number of places. Ultimate is one that I recommend.

Nothing close to NFM, I grew up in SW Iowa and shopped at NFM and MN has nothing of the same size.

Becker tries to promote itself as similar but I've been there and was not impressed.

Is there anything that compares to the NFM?? There is a furniture outlet in Medford but no where near the size of NFM. NFM delivers . I would agree that Becker is the closest thing but no where near the deals.

I recently experienced NFM for the first time - in KC. That is a great place - so huge - so much on display - and so many low to moderately priced choices. In Mpls/St. Paul area I have liked Becker because it is big and has quite a few things on display. It doesn't have as many lower priced choices though. Slumberland is a place that I've found has okay selection of things that aren't too expensive.
