Default What are your favorite resturants in Minnesota (including the outerstate)?

I was just wondering, since I am not a good food critic and the only resturant that I went to in MN that is worthy for me to mention is Mickey's Diner, since it is an icon.

By the way, what was the name of the resturant in Minneapolis that had people giving out free breakfast burrito or something, since it was mentioned on the local news?

Some nice lists so far, we tried to go to Sea Salt Eatery a few Friday's ago and decided we didn't want to wait in line for 45 minutes, but the whole outdoor seating 50 yards from Minnehaha Falls location, always live music acts, etc. is awesome...it's also cool that you're allowed to eat dinner in public while accompanied by your dog. We'll have to try it again during non-peak hours. Anyways, here are some of our favorites:

Quang
Taqueria La Hacienda
OCampo Taqueria
La Poblanita
Azia
Fasika
Matt's Bar
Chatterbox Pub
Global Market
Mercado Central
Victor's 1959 Cafe
Marla's Caribbean Restaurant
Himalayan Restaurant
Maria's Cafe

We go for the best bang for your buck, I also have respect for budget options like Popeye's, A & J Chicken, Little Cesar's, etc.

You know the Manny's Tortas next to the pawn shop and across from Nuevo Rodeo and Town Talk is closed now right? I believe the only location now is a small booth in Mercado Central.

That's too bad, but I was always amazed they had three locations within about 1.5 miles on Lake. Their restaurant in Midtown Global Market is still open--I ate there last week. Great Cubano Sandwiches!

Another of my favorite Mexican restaurants is in the Hi-Lake Center -- I think its called Pinnella's? Great burritos!
