Default Family friendly Fourth of July fireworks/events?

Hi! My family is new to Minneapolis and I was wondering if anyone had any recs for a good place to view fireworks? My kids are young, so it doesn't have to be spectacular, just easily accessible (I hope that is not asking for too much! ). I've found some things on line, but I was hoping for some personal recs. West metro would be best, but we're open to anything if it's fun. TIA!

Depends on where you live, really; every community of any size will have a fireworks display. I personally alternate between Edina (lake Cornelia I think), Richfield, and Bloomington - the nice thing about the Edina fireworks is you can park on the 2nd level at Southdale and watch from your car, which can be handy if you don't want to haul young kids over a long distance or are with someone who has mobility issues.

Fireworks by the state capital at Harriet Island in St Paul are nice plus you can do the taste of minnesota thingy too if this year is the same as years in the past. Not on west side of town but still super close to you if your in Minneapolis.

Multiple nights makes it so you can see on an evening other then the actual 4th as well if you wanna spread things out a bit. Sorry I don't have exact dates for you. At work at the moment but I'm sure some others can maybe expand on my info provided.
