Default Settler's Glen in Stillwater?

Hello, Does anyone have any information on the Settler's Glen development in Stillwater? Anything at all all I appreciate. I'm interested in buying a home there. Construction was done by Lennar. I'm interested in the quality of the homes built, and also if anyone is familiar enough about the neighborhood to tell me what it's like? I have a young family. We are looking for safety, relaxation, friendly people. Thank you!

Stillwater in general is very safe, family friendly and nice people. Lenner is an ok builder, probably above average for current builders but no where near as good as the construction in the older homes in Stillwater. I looked up the development and it says it is an Orrin Thompson development. You might want to double check the builder if that is the case. Orrin Thompson is NOT a good builder.

One of the advantages of living in a town like Stillwater is the walkability of being in town, living in one of these outlying developments takes that away if that is of concern to you.

I own a Lennar home, not in Settlers Glen, but I can tell you that they DO build quality homes and their customer care team is top notch. Any question I ever had, was always addressed/answered quickly. I researched the company before I bought my home and this is what I found out:
Several years ago US Home Corporation bought out Orrin Thompson and Lundgren Brothers. Then Lennar bought out US Home Corporation a few years back.
I would recommend purchasing a Lennar home to anyone. Not to mention Stillwater is a great area. We'd live there however we work in the western suburbs so it just doesn't make sense for us.
