Default Morton's Steakhouse closes

Slow economy takes sizzle from Morton's steakhouse

R.I.P. Morton's. Just another victim of the recession. It was a Minneapolis classic but beings as it was one of the many overpriced downtown eateries I never dined there once so I don't feel too bad.

I ate in the Vegas location a couple of times (never in MN). It was good but not great.

I prefer Murray's. MPLS still has some great steak houses so not all is lost.
