Where is this scary, cold Minnesota winter I've heard so much about and dreaded for so long? It's January. Shouldn't we be in the thick of it?

Actually, I'm finding that it's too mild for my liking right now. I liked when, a week or so ago, it was nice and cold and there was a blue sky overhead.

That's a great film!

I Love it!!! The only place I've ever lived where I actually loved the weather was bush Alaska- the year I was there it got to 50 BELOW!!! I visited Minnesota once a couple of years ago and loved it too...but unfortunately it wasn't in the winter time. Beautiful state you guys have!

I was thinking the same thing! It's 35 and sunny today and it feels wonderful... I'm not wishing for super cold though, since we'll inevitably have it again soon.

I for one enjoy the cold, for some reason it gets my heart pumping.

Looks like we will be seeing some Avg to below avg temps for this winter.

I like cool weather, and tolerate cold weather. Climate is a relatively minor factor in considering why I enjoy living in Minneapolis.

I am from Michigan and I LOVE it. Some of us feel it a little differently I think. It exhilarates me like crazy to go out on a cold morning. I feel sleepy and sluggish all summer and then suddenly there's that chill and I WANT TO BE OUTSIDE. All the time. My ideal temp is probably somewhere between 30 and 50F but I can stand it a lot colder. When I was living in a house rather than an apartment I used to shovel my sidewalks...in a T-shirt. I've even been out in the snow in shorts, it just has to be not over my boot tops.

I'm the opposite of most. The hotter it is, the more I hate it. I have even hated these 70 degree days in October we've had.
