Default Trying to remember the name of a minneapolis band

I'm looking for the name of a great techno and pop band from the Twin Cities area that hit the radio in the early 90's, and even toured in Latam, and came down to Cali-Colombia in 1992! They a sort of electronic and funky sound, and I wiil like to search for their records, but I've lost track of them!

Thumbs up Thanks for your answer!

From Palmira- Colombia:
That's right!!I had it in the tip of my tongue for more than 10 years, and it was an easy name, but I just coundn't get it out!!!
¿Do they exist as a band?. Radio Stations down here never played their records again after they toured my country.
I liked their music right off the first time I heard them down here for 2 reasons: First, they had a clean sound, and second, they were from the Twin Cities.
Somehow I longed for my HS senior year in St. Cloud, Minn, back in 1878, for the Vikings, The North Starts, and the Minn Kicks!

Thanks from half way down under.

They broke up and got back together but they are not very well known here in Minneapolis, at least not anymore. They seem to be more well known in South America, Europe, Mexico and Japan. The group was started in the dorms of Macalester College in St Paul and they were very successful all over the world for a good while

Macalester has generated a few decent bands over the years:

(Check out the Husker's video for great footage of the Twin Cities circa 1984, including their version of the Mary Tyler Moore Theme!)
