Default How gay are twin cities?

Hi,

Statistics show a surplus of men in Minneapolis. Would anyone care to comment about the gay population? Is it fairly significant? I am gathering this information in an effort to publish a book.

Thanks,
Tracy

The kind of information you're going to get here is hardly the kind of material from which you should be writing a book - are you merely setting out to prove a pre-established point or are you trying to be objective? Psycho-social theory of sexuality or something?

Robert

Default No.........

Robert...lol, it's not that deep.

I am writing a book about areas of the US with a surplus of single, hetero men.

Any one care to comment about the original question?

Thanks,
Tracy

I don't have any numbers, but the area seems to be a regional magnet for upper midwesstern gay people, so yes we do have a fairly large gay community.

Again, no numbers but I am guessing we have a larger gay community than compapbly sized cities: Milwaukee, St Louis, Kansas City or Indianapolis.

I've read that Minneapolis is 4th in the nation in terms of the percentage of the population that identifies as gay. First, second and third are San Francisco, Seattle and (surprisingly) Atlanta.

Are you serious about the "surprisingly" in relationship to Atlanta's gay population? Cause it is very well known as such.

How gay are the Twin Cities? Whew - Minneapolis is Raining Men... and a great deal of them are gay & proud! But, it's not just a place for guy single men - there is a large degree of gay/lesbian families in the twin cities. Families, couples, singles, players, & monogamous - you name it we have it! Not to mention we have a pretty large transgender population to boot!!!
