Schells Firebrick!

Became a fan of it on Northwest flights and apparently Delta decided to get rid of it for Amstel and Corona

I visited the twin cities a few years ago and in my opinion, the TC are lacking in good micro brews. Maybe it's changed? I figured you guys would be up there with Seattle, Portland, Boston... Just had a few friends visit me from Minneapolis and they were complaining about it. Does any one make a good IPA out that way?

I wonder if it's because we are RIGHT next to Miller/Coors and Budweiser?

In July I was drinking Summit, but then shifted to Leinenkugal.

Not familiar with the Twin Cities microbrew scene, but these may provide a clue or two:

Minnesota - MidwestMicroBrews
Minnesota Brewpubs and Microbreweries

Totally agreed. This is an excellent beer. Tons of sediment, like it was made in somebody's basement. The hops aren't huge, but very good nonetheless.

Schell's Caramel Bock is one of my favorites. Come to think of it, I haven't tried any Schell's beer that I didn't like. Summit EPA is also very good. I like to go to Granite City whenever we are in the Cities, they make some very good microbrews.

Thanks! That will come in handy the next time I visit friends in the Cities. I'll drink pretty much any beer but I have an addiction to big, hoppy IPA's and I just couldn't find anything like that in the Cities(this was in 2006). I'll have to check out the Rush River BubbleJack next time, Thanks!
