Which is your county?

I chose the '7 metro counties' plus a couple more that sometimes get included as part of the CSA.

I work in the same county (and fortunate enough to be able to walk to work!).

I always thought it was weird that St. Cloud was divided amongst 3 counties.

And that Lousiana calls them Parrishes- Anyone know the difference?

And the size of St. Louis county compared to Ramsey is interesting too.

Live in Ramsey; work in Anoka. Although, it only takes me 12 minutes to get to work since I live on the north end of Ramsey and work on the very south end of Anoka.

St. Louis County was created out of Itasca County, when Itasca County comprised the entire northeastern quarter of the state. The size difference was a lot greater then! Overall, there's a lot of disparity. And it's not just in area. Hennepin County has over 1,000,000 people, while several other counties have less than 5,000.

And Los Angeles County has over 10,000,000 people, while there's a county in Texas with less than 100.

I live in Dakota County. To be more specific, I live in Burnsville. I'm a junior in high school right now. I will have a part-time job in the summer. Therefore I can't answer the second part of the original poster's question because I'm unemployed right now.
