Default Forest Lake to downtown Minneapolis?
Looking at properties in Forest Lake, but wondering if the commute to downtown Minneapolis would be horrible. Any thoughts? Thanks!

If you are thinking of 35W, it's bad. I am assuming you are talking about an 8 to 5 job. If you can get off the freeway on surface streets, it will still be slow but at least you will be moving. If you have any flexibility on your hours, it would be very doable.

The worst part would be from where 10 joins 35. I know some people get off the freeway and take Lexington/Snelling.
