As a resident of Minnesota, you are required to defend Minnesota( and its weather) at all times regardless.........(sarc)

No, that is not what I am saying, the point is, no where have perfect weather all the time. You take the good with the bad but we have far more GOOD days then bad and even these past 10 days have been good in the sense that we NEED the rain.

Its almost over guys - hang in there! Though I have not been pleased with the recent weather - I am not looking forward to 80 in May either. A nice constant sunny 73 would be perfect.

Well, you know Minnesotans and their weather! It's only natural it's going to be in a Minnesota forum!!! LOL.

It's a nice place to get some frustrations off. Like Marmac wrote - Rain is one thing. Constant gray and highs 15 degrees below average after one of the warmest April and March ever. It gets a little tiresome. Especially since the same happened last fall. A ridiculously cold August and then a crazily warm September.

Always remember it could be worse - you could be in Michigan! This is normal weather in MI in the spring/early summer.

I read most of the posts in this thread. Not all, but the majority of you guys complain too much, lol! You dont like the rain in spring, you dont like the cold winter and you cant stand the humid summer! Good grief!!! MOVE THEN!!!

Im from Wisconsin, Milwaukee suburb to be exact, and although our wheather down here may be hair better, I dont hear all the whining. I think most people down here enjoy the transformations our world goes through every year. All you naysayers up there should try it. If not at least stop the complaining...its where you live!!

If the midwest continues this dry cycle, the farm economy will collapse and then the rest of the economy will be REALLY bad-way worse than it is now. It isn't about conserving water, it is about irrigating crops and no matter how much water you save in your rain barrel, that is not going to have one bit of difference on how well the crops do. When a state that averages around 30" of "rainfall (including snow if you melt it down to water) gets only about 10-15" year after year, there will be serious consequences.
You must have never been to Arizona. There are loads of farms using irrigation and migrant labor, maybe not on the scale of California, but they're getting there.
