Question Airport Noise in Southern Suburbs

We're considering the Eagan/Rosemount/Apple Valley area for relocation. I noticed an article online in the Star Tribune today about airport noise. Can anyone provide some feedback on how big of a problem this is and how far it extends? Thanks!

Zero noise here. http://www.macnoise.com/ You can find a map on this site which shows which areas are in the landing/take-off paths of the various runways. Some of the Eagan neighborhoods can be pretty bad. Mendota Heights is another area where some of the neighborhoods have awful noise (houses have all kinds of extra insulation, etc. to help with the problem). We lived in Mendota Heights, not in a flight path neighborhood and didn't have any problems at all.

Smile MAC resource

Thanks for the great resource! We'll plug potential addresses in before we make any decisions.
