Self-explanatory. What is your favorite city or town in Minnesota? If you choose 'other,' explain your choice.

What!? St. Paul Park wasn't listed as an option? I'm speechless.

I sometimes like to revel in the fact that I'm fortunate enough to own a small slice of Minneapolis, what I consider to be one of the greatest cities in the country.

Minneapolis, hands down. With St. Paul as number 2.

If based on the residential areas and not downtown, I like St. Paul the best, particularly the areas around St. Thomas, Grand Ave, Highland Park, and Como Park. The homes are well kept, nice neighborhood stores and restaurants, nice parks and if you want to go to Downtown Minneapolis, its just as close as it is to many neighborhoods in Minneapolis itself.

What do you like about Mankato Flyingwriter? I don't dispute your choice, but I used to live there (Lincoln Park neighborhood) and am just curious. Mankato is a nice town as well IMO.

I'm a small town guy, so I like the small town feel of Mankato. Plus, I love college towns, so Mankato's great in that area, as well. Plus, the scenery can't be beat, with the hills/cliffs of the valley, and then the flat plains stretching for miles. Also, I live in Mankato.

Radical_Car, I kind of expected you to vote for Mankato.

I voted Duluth as it is the most unique city this state has to offer.

I like Duluth too. It was a tough choice between MPLS and Duluth.

Favorite City for what? Living - Shoping - Eating - HeathCare - tourism?

There are so many things to consider. Now that I live in a small town, all larger cities drive me nuts with the Traffic. That rules out MSP. St Cloud is nice and has a GREAT hospital but there is that blasted traffic. Bemidji is pretty nice with minimal traffic, I think for the most part I'd vote for that.

I wouldn't mind living in Grand Marais, it's beautiful there and still quaint.

Honorable mention; Dorset MN - Great Place to visit and it intersects with the Heartland Trail.

Smaller towns have the better personalities. I like all the small towns arround the area where I live. The word City doesn't come into play and likely aren't popular choices in this poll.
