Whelp...it's almost that time of year in MN..

Had my mom take hers to a place to have a ring put on...guy says the motor is toast...sad... Now she's looking at getting rid of her triple and her older high mileage Indy for one decent 2-up of some sort...

January I'm coming up to MN to take a nice snow-trip with a buddy of mine. Bovey to Grand Rapids to Hill City and on down to McGregor area(my family has a nice cabin there)....then back up the other opposite end of the world...McGregor through the east side of the Big Sandy area...up to Jacobson, Warba...and back to Bovey...

We'll probably do plenty of other riding too but that's the major plan anyway. Planning on doing some ice fishing once we get to the cabin...drink some brews, etc.. should be a good time.

Anyone else got any trips planned?

Not around my neck of the woods as there is no snow to go on, just icy, crushy stuff in some spots. I did hear they got a bunch of fresh snow in northern Minnesota, so I am sure snowmobiling is in full gear this holiday weekend up by Grand Rapids. I know alot of people that take snowmobile trips out to Montana and Wyoming for some reason and just do day trips here. The traffic and road crossings in southern Minnesota get annoying pretty quickly.

I could see that. our actual trip is about 65 miles down and about 80 back up the other way...so not TOO long. the lake the cabin is on is pretty small so it should be well frozen. Only thing that will suck is we won't have a toilet...
