I personally don't care, but what gets under my skin is when people put down their own race for the reason they don't date within their race. Who we fall in love with is our business, but when you blame a whole race of people for you not being able to find love, is just hidious to me. I don't think there is anything wrong with dating outside of your race.

Well we have all kinds of people in this state just like any other state. Im against it myself. Although I dont condemn it. Reason I dont like it cause it causes problems with your children in school and such. Ive seen it happen many times. Before you choose who to be with see the big picture not just your own little picture. God bless.

What in the world are you talking about? Could you elaborate a little bit?

What does this have to do with the Minnesota/Minneapolis/St Paul forum?

Are you by any chance vying for a Moderator position?
It seems like your posts (maybe lately at least) are geared at overthrowing a moderator (specifically the attacks at Golfgal which I admit are somewhat justified) and pointing out the mistakes of others and perhaps what you believe the Moderators are overlooking as well.
Then again, having read many of your posts, maybe you're just a blunt, call it like it is type person.
Anyhow, I mean no disrespect, in many cases your posts provide great information...just a simple observation and honest question.
Oh, and to answer your question...though I won't speak for the OP I will throw out my 2 cents on the issue. I assumed the inquiry was placed in this forum because the OP lives or plans to live in the area and harbors anxiety or curiosity over whether interracial relationships will stir things up here. Really though, you may be right in that it is vague enough to wonder whether it really should be in the "Relationships" forum or wherever.
Frankly, in my personal opinion, though I understand the logic behind separating threads by topic and geography, it sort of frustrates me. X% of the time I don't care what people from around the country think about an issue, I want to know a strictly Minnesotan perspective on things for one reason or another. The way this forum is set up (and "watch dogs" who are ready to bite heads off) hinder that ability.
But then that's probably why there's another MN specific website/forum out there for that.

Heavens, no. I don't want to be a moderator.
And no, I'm not posting the question here as a way to correct the moderator of this board, Golfgal. I hope she's doing something more fun with her time today than moderating the board, quite frankly.
I sincerely meant the question as it was. There are other forums here for this constant discussion about race and race issues. Also, weren't there like 4 other recent threads that had to do with similar topics? I would imagine the original poster, no offense, could have gleaned some information from those posts to answer this specific question. But whatever. Maybe that's the way it rolls. If you are correct, that this person is looking for a "Minnesota opinion" then, this would be the place for it.
And yes, you are correct, I am just a frank person.

And there's really nothing wrong with that!
I also agree...especially on the topic of race, there are quite a few "repeat" threads. (yawn!) Apparently the "search" function is non-existent to some. Confession: I've been guilty of it, too, I'm sure.
