Blizzard conditions on-going as winds combine with heavy falling snow to lower vsby. This isnt a typical blizzard in our area of western MN as in most cases the snow is fluffy and blows around long after the snow ends, but in this case it isnt. We have had reports of 6-11 inches Grant county MN up through Hubbard and S Beltrami county MN. Highest winds mostly in the southwestern half of MN in the Buffalo Ridge and in the eastern SD Couteau region, which is higher.

As for verification, we dont have to go by AWOS or ASOS for winds or vsby...often we verify with public reports.... also time wise as well there is some leeway.

I'll be curious to see some Snow ratios when I get a chance to look into it. I didn't think it would be powdery in November so I guess I expected that but like you said, with a Blizzard feels a bit strange not to have fluff stuff.

Radar loop last 4 hrs.. Here it comes Minneapolis.

All it takes is 6 hours in the right spot, with a storm like this, and you get a foot or more. WOW!! That's whitout conditions for hours.

NWS Duluth

"Got a CoCoRaHS observer near Beauty Lake, MN with a snowfall total of 13.8" in the last 6 and a half hours!"

We had the thunderstorms and now it's switched to a very light snow that isn't sticking one it touches the ground. So glad I don't have to go outside. I put rain coats on my dogs and sent them out they just stood there ~~"What the heck <arff>"

Hello? Nobody wants to talk about the weather? Strange. Except for 3 people.
