Default Your Top 10 Minnesota cities list (for places to live)

So forget about the "best places to live" list that comes out every year on the internet, let's hear what people who actually live here think when it comes to the best cities/towns to live in in our beautiful state.

We've done similar threads for suburbs and small towns but I want to know what it would look like if you had to come up with a list of the top 10 cities in Minnesota (includes suburbs and small towns) where you would live if your commute didn't matter at all. Let's say you work in a virtual office. My list would look something like this:

1. Minneapolis
2. St. Paul
3. Hopkins
4. Richfield
5. St. Anthony
6. Excelsior
7. Duluth
8. Bloomington
9. West St. Paul
10. Detroit Lakes

I guess people here love the east side of the state. People have yet to name a city west of Mankato (except me). Sorry, but I find western Minnesota, especially Southwest Minnesota, so much more interesting and invigorating than eastern or central MN, which are nice areas, but just don't do much for me. There's something about that big sky and lush carpet of prairie grasses and wildflowers that is just absolutely breathtaking. There are also some awesome towns around here, like Marshall and Pipestone.
