Hello all- I, too am concerned about internet access in rural MN. We are thinking about buying a cabin near Shevlin, MN & I want to be sure I have access because I've thought alot about going back to school. Much of the work would be done online. I believe we would have good southern exposure because the property sits high on a ridge line (actually the name of the road). I don't care so much about tv access, but I do like to get the science & nature shows, CNN, FOX etc. Thanks for info-elfmom

Satellite is fine for surfing, and the latency isn't as big an issue while moving between pages. Once the request starts, the speed is decent. If you plan on doing any online gaming or anything fast paced like that however, you'll have problems. Most cloud cover, rain and snow won't cause too many issues unless it's REALLY heavy snow/rain.

Eh? came from Canada, I'd say. We here in MN don't really say that too often. IT just slips out sometimes. But I have Canadian customers come in on the weekends and they're like "Eh! Where do you guys keep your ____, eh?"

It's kinda funny.

and I say ya'll sometimes. I mainly just say "How's everyone doing?" instead of "How're ya'll doing?"
