My main concern is finding a good job for me there. I have 8 yrs + experience in technology mainly in computers. and I can teach Mathematics and physics as well though I have very little experience (< 1 year).

So what will be the probable and better area for me? Teaching or Engineering?

will appreciate your reply on above.

Thank you so much.
There is a very good chance you will be able to find a job in engineering here, not so much with education, but you are better off with an engineering job anyway, much better pay.

What type of visa are you in? I assume you are in H-4 visa. H-4 visa holders are not allowed to work. your most important task will be to get some company to sponsor H-1B visa for you and that is not an easy task. It is not easy to find job here so dont come with huge expectation. Also double check on your husband's in-hand salary. after federal tax, state tax, social security, medicare, insurance for family, inhand salary is less then what you think. there are indian Ph.D. and post docs struggling to find jobs here.

I can't tell you what you should do, but Engineering has a FAR better prospect in this country than teaching, job security/pay-wise. Most teachers or family members of teachers would tell you that.

Yes, take my suggestions with a grain of salt, as I have no idea how to get a job in this country with a Visa. But assuming you have equal access to jobs as others, then my advice holds true.
