Smile Albert Lee

On the way to Inntl Falls we went through this town. LOVE at first sight. Would appreciate anyone with firsthand knowledge of this town to share.

Chamber of Commerces paint lovely pictures of every place -- I'd appreciate some anecdotes. Is it an open place or is it one of those that if your great-grandfather wasn't born there, you are regarded with suspicion? I appreciate a sense of community but not a closed community. I also respect what is already in existence in a town and am not one of those who moves to a place and then starts up about how "everything was better" back where I came from!!! You know the type...

Thank you if anyone has remarks about Albert Lee.

Albert Lea. Small town of about 15,000. Nicely situated between 2 lakes. Economy is fairly stagnant - and consequently job opportunities are somewhat lacking. Good mix of retail for a town of it s size. I guess if you were to generalize, it's a fairly reserved and conservative community.
