Interesting. I can get a drivers license for Minnesota online as well. That doesn't make it a valid license if a cop stops me, but I guess it's valid most of the time, at least according to logic you're using above.

IMHO, the state has a strong and compelling argument not to register or certify aberrant behaviour.
Really? You've never heard the phrase "tyranny of the majority", I take it?

I don't really care what you believe in terms of whether or not gar marriage should be legal, but the fact that you're making seriously misleading statements like "they can get married anyway" isn't really helping anyone.

You should move to Georgia. The natives here would love you.

kudos to General Mills.
Sort of like how I'm "ashamed" of my "Baby Boomer" parents' hippy generation and the unbelievable amount of damage they did to America and crap they now have us in?

Absolutely! I OPPOSE the regulation of personal morality - save for the obvious like murder, rape, robbery and other similar acts....

Libertarian, eh? I assume then that you'd be ok with, say, explicit ads for hard core porn during the Saturday morning kiddie's cartoons then. Live and let live, right? Or is it that you just choose a different place to draw your lines than where the silly Republicans draw theirs?

That's good news because I'm your next door neighbor and I plan to turn my house into a combination strip bar and X-rated bookstore. I'll pave over the front yard for a parking lot, and people can park there under the giant jumbotron I plan to install where I'll show videos of the strippers and samples from the bookstore. So glad you totally oppose regulating this activity. It's very open minded of you.

What do you mean - idiotic religious beliefs? Which ones? that it's the union of a man and woman that carries the civilization forward? That a man and woman, together, create a family?
Like my Grand Pa said, " If you stick two boars in the pen together, ya' ain't gonna get a litter of pigs."

In this case I can't blame General Mills for standing up for many of its employees whose rights would potentially be negatively impacted by the ammendment. In fact, I think as a kudos to Mills I'm going to go buy myself a box of Lucky Charms and indulge in the marshmallow goodness!

No, I was referring to the condemnation of homosexuality, the belief of many christian religions that homosexual relationships are sinful and immoral. Yeah, carrying civilization forward....that was probably really relevant a few thousand years ago when there were only a few million people on the planet and when aggressive procreation was necessary for the continuation of the human race due to famine and rampant disease. Now in 2012 with a world population of 7 billion I'm not sure the human race should be overly concerned about that anymore, although maybe it's seen as more of a problem where you are in Warba, MN, which has a whopping population of 181. So onward to procreate and carry civilization forward! Oh, and enjoy your pig references.
