I am really enjoying this series. My father, Oliver Grin, worked on refueling tugs in Buffalo and Duluth in the late 40's early 50's before going to work for Cleveland Tankers. He passed away on the MV Great Lakes in Nov. 1973 just outside of Navy Pier. I am working on family genealogy and would like more information about the tugs during that time. I believe the tug in Duluth was the William H Bennett (I think). I believe the company in Duluth was West Shore Fuel. The company was owned by Charlie LaDuka (? if spelling is correct). Any information you can send would be greatly appreciated. My email is
48_grinster@sbcglobal.net. Thanks!
