Gonna guess either Minnehaha Falls or Paul Bunyan in Bemidji (not looking it up to see if that's where it really is)

Perhaps the most recognizably Minnesotan thing is the state's lack of the ostentatious, universally-recognized landmark- Minnesota likes to keep quiet/down-to-earth, and would rather be known for the idea of Lake Wobegon than some over-the-top display (...not sure how the MOA happened, and you betcha the hotdish museum sure sounds like a winner!).

Being from a state that is chock-full of gimmicky tourist traps/landmarks (SD), I appreciate Minnesota.

MOA was probably about property tax.

I think several of the Mayo Clinic buildings are pretty well known.

I hate to say this, but it's the MOA. I'm from SD and whenever we went said we were going to Minnesota, people asked if we were going to the MOA.
